Sample questions on this page are real questions from our free pack. How we check

Every answer shows its work.

This is your exam, so you should be able to see where an answer comes from and how it was checked. That includes what we have not done yet.

See every source and license

  • Written from open sources

Every question is written in our own words from licensed or public-domain material, such as Open RN, MedlinePlus, FDA drug labels and CDC pages. You can open each source under the answer.

  • Original, never recalled

We never copy or imitate prep-book questions, and we never use recalled exam questions.

  • Checked more than once

Independent automated reviewers solve each question without seeing the answer and challenge the key: two checks, or three for dosage, high-alert drug and pediatric topics. Key facts are quoted from a cited source and the quote is checked by code. Dose calculations are done by code, not by a model. A failed or uncertain check rejects the question.

  • Not reviewed by a clinician yet

No licensed nurse has reviewed these questions. Automated checks can miss mistakes, and a question can depend on local rules. Use your program’s materials as well.

  • If something looks wrong

Tap Report an error on the card. That card is hidden for you at once, and reports help us find and fix mistakes.

Not just multiple choice.

Practice the formats you will meet, including Next Generation style bow-tie, matrix, highlight and case studies. Select-all-that-apply uses partial credit. Tap a format to see a free sample.

What is SwipeExam?

SwipeExam is a study app that shows one exam-style question per screen. You answer, read why, check the sources, and swipe to the next one. It is built for short sessions on your phone.

Which exams does it cover?

NCLEX-RN®, NCLEX-PN® and CNA. We plan to add ATI TEAS®, HESI® A2, NREMT and PTCB as each question bank is ready.

Are these real exam questions?

No. Every question is written for SwipeExam. We do not copy or imitate commercial prep-book questions, and we never use “recalled” exam questions. SwipeExam is not affiliated with or endorsed by NCSBN or any other exam owner. See trademark notices.

How are questions written and checked?

Questions are produced by an AI-assisted pipeline from cited public sources such as Open RN, openFDA, MedlinePlus and CDC. Each one must cite at least one approved source and pass two independent automated checks (three for dosage, high-alert drug and pediatric topics). Dosage math is calculated by code, not by AI. If any check fails or is uncertain, the question is rejected.

No licensed clinician has reviewed these questions. Automated checks can miss mistakes, so every card shows when its sources were checked and has a “Report an error” button. See the full source list.

Will SwipeExam help me pass?

We built it to make regular practice easier to stick with, but we cannot promise any result. Passing depends on many things, including your preparation and the exam itself. SwipeExam does not guarantee that you will pass.

How much does it cost?

SwipeExam is free to start: 15 new questions a day in one category, streaks, a free sample exam and 3 AI tutor uses a day. Premium costs $44.99 every 3 months (with a 3-day free trial) or $19.99 a month in the US. Prices vary by country.

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in your App Store or Google Play settings. The Terms explain renewal, trials and cancellation.

What does the AI tutor see?

The tutor is optional and asks for your permission first. When you tap “Explain simpler” or “Why was I wrong?”, our server sends the approved question and explanation, the button you tapped and the answer you picked to our AI provider, Anthropic. We do not send your name, email or account ID. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Do you track me or show ads?

No ads and no tracking SDKs. This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. The app uses a short list of services to work (sign-in, purchases, crash reports), and the Privacy Policy names each one.

Can I delete my account and data?

Yes. You can delete your account in the app, or follow the steps on the delete-account page.

When can I get it?

Soon, on iPhone and Android. App Store and Google Play links will appear on this page when the app is live. To hear when it launches, email support@swipeexam.com.

Is this medical advice?

No. SwipeExam is for exam practice and education only. Do not use it to make decisions about patient care. Follow your facility’s policies, your instructors and current clinical guidelines.

Who can use SwipeExam?

You must be 18 or older. The app asks for your birth year during setup.

Coming soon to your phone.

SwipeExam is launching on iPhone and Android. Store links will appear here when the app is live. To hear the day it launches, email support@swipeexam.com and we will let you know once.
